The GHC is a coalition of local neighborhood interests seeking a moratorium on additional or expanded addiction and substance abuse programs or facilities in Harlem and East Harlem. The GHC is a grassroots gathering of more than 20 existing neighborhood-based Harlem and East Harlem resident associations, businesses, and faith-based organizations.

The Hamilton Heights-West Harlem Community Preservation Organization (“CPO”) is a non-profit grassroots volunteer organization which seeks to bring together the many and varied community organizations–tenant, block, homeowners associations, local businesses and institutions to resolve issues, advocate for services from public agencies and celebrate our unique and diverse community.

Opened in August 2012 in Harlem, NCS provides a rich, challenging K-8 program that cultivates the intellectual, social and emotional development of each child.
